A great hotel very near (4 kilometers) near Durdle Door with very accomodating staff.
Even though I arrived late for dinner and their cook had gone home, they pleasantly went out of their way to prepare dinner for me.
They served a hearty breakfast good enough to sustain you for long walks along the Jurassic coast.
I would definitely go back again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Castle Inn. The rooms are clean and have everything you need but are also quirky and characterful. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and everything we tried was delicious. We ate in the pub on both evenings of our stay and enjoyed dinner very much. The location is great too. A peaceful corner of Dorset but with wonderful coastal walks and the beautiful Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door close by. We loved...

This was my favorite place to stay while in Britain. The owners are wonderful, the food was the BEST I ate in the country, and the atmosphere was perfect.

The Bay Tree House was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable; Gary was friendly and helpful; and the location is a short walk to town. I also walked to both of Thomas Hardy’s homes. Max Gate was a leisurely ten minutes away; the cottage was a longer walk, but the route through the Dorset countryside was indescribably beautiful.

Perfect stay for anyone visiting Dorchester. Hotel is super clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Parking needs to be pre-booked but there are a number of car parks close by. Hotel is 'room only' which works really well as there is no pressure to get to breakfast! Loads of choices within a 5 minute walk of the hotel which includes the 'Horse with the Red Umbrella' and the Dorset Museum. Room's are comfy and provide everything you need for your stay. The location was perfect, the room clean and the staff helpful. I was glad about the parking behind the Inn. Made it very easy to explore Swanage. Also lovely to grab a drink or food right there.
