“Lovely cute room (large room) with amazing views in a stunning location”

“Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. I pointed out that it said two eggs but we only got one each. The waiter was apologetic but just said it……

“a farmhouse, you can feel the humidity of the stone wall room, a bit too dark inside the room, but general acceptable beautiful environment, you can enjoy a very good countryside view (inc the corfe castle ruins), if you dont want to drive to the town to have lunch or dinner, you can enjoy the local meal at the farmhouse restaurant”

“Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that.”

“Great location for this hotel in centre of Corfe Castle with parking which is a plus as the village doesn’t have many places to park. We booked a garden room for two nights and were a little disappointed as the garden rooms are all described as spacious and within their own walled garden. The photo shown on their website does not in any way look the same as the one we had. The room we were given was very small and dark and had tiny awning windows. In the recent heat it was impossible to……

“Vriendelijk ontvangst. Ontbijt in orde, eerder wel beperkt. Badkamer proper, echter de deur sleepte , dit was lawaaierig 's nachts. Had gevraagd om 2 aparte bedden, maar was toch opgemaakt als dubbel bed.”

“Room was clean and airy, though a bit close to street noise. Staff were personable and helpful and our meals were superb.”

“Fabulous location away from the tourists but a very short walk to all the action, the sea, the harbour, etc. Free parking included. Spectacular breakfast included. The hosts, Jackie and Chris, took care of our every need and went beyond expectation. Even brought us upgraded wine glasses one evening to better enjoy our bottle of wine on their front patio. Incredibly generous hosts.”
