“We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. “A great central location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room very clean and spacious but would benefit from some improvements such as replacing the cracked hand bowl in the bathroom. Maybe not the best choice if you need a quiet venue, as there is inevitably quite a lot of noise from the pub downstairs which on our visit, the night of a big football match, did continue well beyond the promised 11.00”

“Recently thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at The Old Vicarage, having visited in Sept 2025, I immediately booked again for Feb 2026. Once again the location was idyllic, our room and shared kitchen were excellent. The owners Gerry & Patricia were fabulous hosts, the dogs Frank & Elsa were very welcoming and the kitten Jennifer was lovely. The breakfasts, both full English and scrambled eggs with salmon were outstanding. In the afternoon we visited the nearby Heart of the Shires Shopping……
