“Not what was advertised premium room was very understated, no chairs to view TV we had to lay on the bed. The window had a dresser in front obscuring the view. The inn was closed when we arrived 2pm left waiting for 20 minutes as no one was answering the phone, the entrance was very poorly maintained the bench at the door was obviously used for smo”

“Great location and the room was really nice. We stayed in a heatwave and there was just a fan in the room and no aircon, so sleeping was a real problem. Wi-fi in the room wouldn't connect. Definitely go back when it's a bit cooler!”

“The property was really well located, checkin quite early, with no problem from there side. The room was really clean, bed was good, bathroom had everything and loved the shower. Tom was really helpful, informative, gave us a bit of history of the building, which was fascinating. Included Breakfast was simple, but very good, and you could have ordered from the kitchen at an extra cost. Will definitely recommend.”

“Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!”

“Fabulous stay. Staff were so helpful, shepherds hut was gorgeous and the setting was just so peaceful! This will most definitely be the first place I book when travelling to this area again!”

“As we didn’t book direct with the hotel our evening meal wasn’t included. That wasn’t a problem as you could dine in any of the restaurants for £30 per head. Traveller’s be aware though if you didn’t want to dine in there was no other food purchase options available after 4pm. They don’t offer room service either. The grounds are extensive and it’s not possible to walk to anywhere. Take snacks with you as there is a fridge available in the room.”

“Lovely clean room, included fridge, ironing board, iron as well as the usual things you'd expect like tea/coffee facilities, desk, TV, toiletries, hair dryer. Comfy bed. I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Would definitely stay here again ”

“We stayed one week in the Cottswald, and this was by far the nicest place we stayed. It was truly a resort experience. The grounds were gorgeous, and there were many indoor and outdoor seating areas including 3 posh lounges with different vibes. Reading, games and music/relaxing. Upscale Aromatherapy diffusers by each bedside! Dinner was best meal of our lives, and a lovely breakfast was included. The smart tv worked perfectly, and the staff was incredibly helpful. There was a helpful welcome……
