Uncomfortable experience

Posted Nov 1, 2017
Pros: The front desk staff was nice.
Cons: The room facilities are in great need of improvement!
Location: Cedarville College is a great place to visit.
We did not enjoy our brief stay. Originally, we scheduled 4 nights there, but canceled two of them and moved to another hotel. The room facilities were in great need of repair, especially the bathroom.

Terrible

Posted Oct 16, 2017
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything!
Location: Nothing.
It was terrible. There were staples sticking out of the door moldings in the bathroom. A good spot to cut your ankles. There was mold growing all over in the bathroom. Room was right next to where the elevator motors were at keeping me up half the night. The molding in the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time. Wiped it with a wet wash cloth and it turned black. Where the iron sat you could see dirt laying there! Over all it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!

Clean but aging.

Posted Sep 29, 2017
Pros: Breakfast adequate and included in room rate.
Cons: Tops on my list of several obvious flaws was the poor wifi.
Clean but aging facility with lingering odor of stale cigarette smoke. WiFi nearly useless - very slow with poor signal strength in rooms. I was not the only guest who had consistent trouble getting entry cards to work.

Pleasant, Helpful, and Quiet

Posted Sep 19, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: I had a jacuzzi suite! I felt as if the jacuzzi was clean (I am not a health inspector, the water appeared clear and smelled "treated", but not foul)
Cons: Given the circumstances, nothing. It was a good stay.
Location: In town, good sized parking lot, well lit. Food is within walking distance. Was able to park a trailer on the last day of the stay, very important.
Booked through a third party, hotels in the area were filling up due to quite a few events. I clicked on non smoking but was assigned a smoking room. No cancellation policy. Still, the hotel staff and the third party all worked to try changing us to a non smoking room. Upon arrival, the evening check in gentleman was very understanding and polite and offered to provide a room refresh unit. The smoke smell in the room was enough to irritate my husband's eyes but didn't *reek*. We tolerated it just fine for the weekend. My observation was that this area of the hotel was reserved for smokers and, while clean, wasn't the newest ceiling or paint. The blankets and carpet were all burn free. I had a jacuzzi! I used it and didn't fear for my life. Overall, we'll stay here again but without using the third party-I'll go through Ramada directly. I can't speak to the elevators or the non smoking rooms in the rest of the hotel, but I was quite happy with the overall atmosphere, the pleasant staff, and the cleanliness of the room. Lots of electrical outlets for charging electronics. Clean, hot water with plenty of pressure.

WORST HOTEL EVER

Posted Sep 6, 2017 on Hotels
did not want a smoking room, filthiest room I have ever seen, reeked like cigars and cigarette butts, asked manager to change rooms, she refused, order me to go outside after being checked in while on the phone to hotels.com customer service, called the police on me, kicked me out and refused my stay, then fraudulently charged my c.c. for $238.00 I was on the property for a total of ten minutes. Huge scam, stay away

I hope you still manager to have a good nights stay and enjoyed your time in the area. The hotel is preparing to undergo renovations. I hope you come back and see all of the changes to come! We are bringing her back slowly. We just reopened our bar and restaurant in May as well as completed replacing all room tile. Many beautiful changes coming!

Quiet place. Lobby is roomy. Dirty carpets. Breakfast is very disappointing and limited without scrambled eggs and sausage. Coffee doesn't taste good at all. I won't stay again.

I am sorry you were unhappy. We are replacing carpets in our next phase or renovations. We did just have them professionally done in August and made the decision to replace. In our breakfast area there is a sigh that hot items are cook to order free of charge. We make eggs and sausage, pancakes etc for our guest. I hope you can give us another opportunity to better serve you in the future.
