This was our third time here and we'll be back again for sure. Delightful location, whimsical decor, and super helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Very relaxing. Putting course was fun but golf course only has 9 holes so we golfed at Elk Ridge which was great. Also, Skamania has artificial turf on the golf course greens. They said they were changing that but not sure when. Not sure why someone would do that either.

Basically, most everything was great. The location was great; the hotel itself is beautiful. All the staff that we interacted with were very professional and very helpful whenever asked a question. There were only two things that were problems. The first was the Wi-Fi did not work in the room we were assigned. After contacting the desk a tech rep came to our room. He told us the system was not working in that part of the hotel. I went to the front desk and conversed with the clerk and requested we be moved to another room. He was very quick to find another room for us and told me to call the desk as soon as we were ready to move and someone would be sent up to assist. I did as asked and a worker arrived and assisted with the move to the other room. The only other thing that was difficult was the bathroom in the second room. It was very tiny. There was barely enough room to move about when using the toilet and when using the shower. However we made it work. These were the only faults/difficulties we encountered.

I can imagine, in its hay day 50 years ago, that this hotel was nice. But now, not so much. It is rundown. I had to request new bedding when I arrived because the sheets and mattress protector were filled with sand. The floors were dirty. The only thing this place has going for it is the view. I will not stay again.
