"2-years in a row that the pool was closed. Shower head leaked & had weak water pressure. The Conditioner was empty upon arrival & need to have some sort of ‘night light’ available instead of only bright lights or TV. "Great property and location but (not their fault) this is a loud area. Unfortunately, the HPD has their hands full with motorcycles and cars pretty much drag racing on Hwy 70 which is right by the hotel. I don't think there is really anything the hotel can do but it's a shame. I was up visiting (lived there for 15 years) so as a recent local, i'm well aware of the problem. Otherwise, highly recommend this hotel over others in the area. Always clean, nice staff, and still a good location if you need to stay in Hickory."
