“Just back from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Tor-na-coille. We stayed in a deluxe room which was spacious and spotless. Loved all the original features of this beautiful building. The staff all very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Fresh fruit and delicious cooked breakfast every morning, we dined once in the evening which was superb and very good value, rounded off with a nightcap in front of the roaring fire in the lounge. In a great location, only half a mile to Banchory and a five……

“We had a lovely time at the Glen Clova hotel, it's set in beautiful scenery and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and our room was very quiet. Only thing I would ask for is mineral water in the room because both taps in the bathroom were running warm water so we couldn't pour a glass from there.”

“After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. ”

“What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.”

“Customer service was excellent and good availability of car parking. Close proximity to the P&J arena. From the photos on the website I thought the rooms might be a bit outdated but on arrival it actually had a cosy and welcoming feel about it. Room was comfortable and heating was on when we arrived which was really appreciated as it was a cold evening. Room was clean and facilities were great. Bathroom was spotless and towels were white and fluffy. Plenty of tea and coffee and even some hot……
