Wave your hands in the air and scream if you want to go faster with acres of indoor family fun at this theme park.

If the casinos don’t get your heart racing, the five acres (two hectares) of fun at Adventuredome Theme Park will. Adventuredome has more than 20 rides, including the world’s only indoor double-loop, double-corkscrew roller coaster, bumper cars, climbing walls, a Ferris wheel and a swinging pirate ship.

Connected to the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, Adventuredome’s architecture is well known. Its enormous roof is made entirely of pink-tinted glass and the interior is designed to look like a canyon.

Perfect for families who need a break from the crowds and the sun, Adventuredome is studded with child-friendly rides. For example, Miner Mike a miniature runaway coal train. Thunderbirds is a replica 1920s airplane that takes passengers soaring above the crowds.

Young-at-heart thrill seekers have their pick of premium and large rides. Make a splash on the Rim Runner, a water ride with a 60-foot (18-meter) plunge, or lose your way on Chaos, which whirls you in three directions in an unpredictable pattern. Disk’O simultaneously spins and rocks passengers, while the Canyon Blaster roller coaster hurls you through those double loops and corkscrews at 55 miles (88 kilometers) per hour.

Should all that adrenaline tire you, Adventuredome offers a few gentler pursuits, including 4-D films, free clown shows, an 18-hole miniature golf course, a virtual reality zone, mini bowling and an arcade with the latest shoot ’em ups and video games. A food tent adjoins the park offering burgers, pizza and ice cream.

Adventuredome is inside Circus Circus Casino & Resort, at the north end of The Strip, next Stratosphere. I suggest if you want to bring your kids to the adventures Dome you don't stay at the hotel and just park there. Stay somewhere nicer even if you pay a little more, this place is just all bad.

2/5 - Disappointing

Verified traveler

Of course it’s overpriced and then most of the rides were closed. It doesn’t open until late which is useless if you have a toddler.

3/5 - Okay

They no longer allow you to purchase single ride tickets. Only full passes at $40 each. No free rides.

4/5 - Good

Verified traveler

The kids loved this and there was hardly anyone there on Friday night. Saturday seemed quite a bit busier.

2/5 - Disappointing

Verified traveler

Rides were too expensive.
