The hotel stay itself was great, under renovation and all my room was nice and clean. Initially during my stay I had very pleasant encounters with 3 different staff members but on my last day during check out around 4am, no one was at the desk and I waited no problem but when the lady finally did come to the desk her attitude was not so pleasant, I could tell she had just woke up, I let her know I would like to check out of my room and return my room keys, she then started explaining and saying she had a right to take a break, whichever I never asked her for any explanation because that was not the first time the front desk was left unattended during my stay but her attitude was very hostile. I then made a call to the hotel front desk to make sure I was checked out of my room properly and explained why I was verifying, she then too started saying the employee has rights to take breaks, again I never asked for explanation, only that I was checked out of my room properly. Overall the room and hotel was nice, clean, and conveniently located in Old San Juan, so there is a lot to do and see in walking distance.

The host that help us with the check in was the only positive point of our stay. To start, the real name of the location is not Ocean Breeze. The actual name is Condado Villas and the entrance is a the end of a street with no exist. It is actually a very outdated condo. Our room had a great view, however, we were not able to enjoy it because the AC outside unit blows the hot air into the balcony. The Kitchen was outdated and utensils dirty. I had to wash all the glasses before using them. The bathroom was dirty and the shower broken. There was no pressure on the water and it would change from cold to very hot in a second. The bed was an IKEA bed, the cheapest you could find and the chair for the mini table in the room were broken. We were not able to use them. The pool was outdated and the pool chairs broken. I don’t recommend this place to stay. I picked this facility because we were added to a family trip after the booking was done. But I would have rather stayed at the facility next to this one, hotel Caribe.
