“The home was very clean and appropriately furnished. The falls were a lot further off than the picture hinted at, but still a beautiful view. Check-in was a little difficult because I had to hunt for many things in the cabin, including where the lights and fans were. The host was on vacation but was very nice; I just hated having to keep calling with questions. The beds were not king-size; they were queen, which was disappointing for two adults. “Our stay in Mentone at Canyon Falls Cottage was awesome. The owner greeted us on arrival he is the nicest man, and he loves sharing this special place. He explained all the little things that host usually fail to explain. Home was spotless, well stocked and you feel instantly at home. The cottage was so close to DeSoto Falls that you could hear the roar of the falling water. It’s just a short walk to the falls from the cottage, and from the second-floor bedroom you have a view of the falls.……
