“The host was very welcoming. The cottage is beautifully decorated, comfortable, well equipped and clean. The views are breathtaking and the train runs thru the bottom of valley head, which is so romantic. This is our second stay with the host we have never been disappointed. Look forward to going back. The town of Mentone is just so quaint, our favorite destination.”

“Host was responsive and polite. House was older and could use some updated amenities. Property was peaceful and beautiful this time of year. House was clean but older. Had to hunt for 3 prong outlets, fans were older and in need of some updating and working light bulbs. Bathroom needs a new shower curtain, probably a curved one as the tub area is very confining. But the stay was nice and cozy and we had a good time. Would stay again, we are just spoiled city folk. ”

“A/C did not cool. 75 degrees during day 74 thru the night was about it. Never shut off could not get it down to 70 degree setting. This was an issue reported just several reviews earlier. For a unit up to 6 persons there is very limited seating ,no dinning table and or chairs for inside.Password was wrong on info online.”

“Beautiful location and very peaceful…very comfortable… Frances is a great hostes. There is a heater needed in the bathroom. The weather was chilly and the bath rather uncomfortable.when bathing..”
