"We stayed because a grandson was running in the State Track meet. We had other grandkids - disappointed that 2 of the pools were closed, but enjoyed the one that was open. We happened to leave 3 pillows in Room 270. We stopped back after the track meet - about 5:00 pm and no one could find them. Very disappointed about that!! Still hope they will look into that and try to find them and let us know - we left a phone number."
"Checked in, a few minutes early, front desk staff member was friendly and helpful with dining recommendations.
Hallway reeks of weed, room smelled clean. Left for dinner and a concert, came back and overpowering Marijuana odor from the front door to the room, including in the room too."

Perfect Overnighter
"My overnight impromptu stay was better than expected. I was in town for a baseball tournament and decided to get a room last minute vs driving home 2hrs just to get back on the road at 6am to drive another 2hrs. Especially after sitting in 85° heat all day.
The folks at the check-in were courteous and clear with the hotel procedures and amenities. After being at the hot baseball fields all day all I wanted was cold a/c and a shower. Well, the a/c worked VERY well and the shower was absolutely amazing. The bathroom was clean but showing some wear in the tiles. The towels, tub and toilet were clean. Plenty of warm water that seemed endless thank goodness.
The bed sheets and pillows were all clean and the curtains blocked every bit of daylight which helped with sleeping in a little longer after cooking in the sun all day.
For our tournaments next year this is where I will stay again. "
"The Hotel is absolutely Gorgeous. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially Zach at the fro t desk. Have us wonder restaurant options with a free shuttle ride too and back if we didn’t want to walk.
We were in town for a concert at Wells Fargo Arena and got a complimentary shuttle saving us an Uber ride.
Zach is right Best Martinis in Des Moines ( he dared us to proof him wrong- we couldn’t )
