“Lady at check in was very rude on Friday until the manager came out to help check others in. She completely changed the way she was speaking to me and my daughter and was suddenly helpful.”

“Check in was handled well, clerk was friendly and gave my dog a treat. Breakfast was very good, hotel seemed new and area was happening, with an outlet mall across the street and nice restaurants within walking distance. ”

“I expected an older property but not in the condition this one is. The outside doors do not lock and there are junk cars and garbage all around the property. People live at the hotel so kids run the halls for their playground. Lots of dogs that bark all the time. The halls smell of pot and I don’t know what. The pool is permanently closed. The rooms bedding is thin and wore out. There is a broken spot in the floor in front of the toilet. Definitely not a 7.4 hotel. ”

“The breakfast here is fantastic. We were there during tournaments for kids so it was kind of loud but that’s not the places fault. The breakfast has B&G, cheese omelets, waffles, sausage, hard boiled eggs, ham and a yogurt machine. It was one of the best free breakfast at a hotel I’ve had! Highly recommend. The only issue was all the noise and the bed was a little hard.”

“We love their breakfasts, but this stay was not a good breakfast experience. We got there over a half an hour before the time for breakfast ended. But there was only one sausage left a couple of egg omelettes, no cinnamon roll rolls in the empty container, and when I tried to make a pancake, it just said pancake bag needs to be replaced, and there was also no orange juice. The attendant did come out and replace the juice when another guest was standing there waiting. I stood there waiting for……

“I had to kill three bugs during my stay. The toilet didn’t work. A large group of kids ran around all night banging on doors and nothing was done about it.”

“The property was very clean and modern decor. Breakfast was always fresh and had a good variety of food. The staff was extraordinary cordial amd friendly. Shout out to Lauren and Cameron! Great location to restaurants and things to do in Des Moines and surrounding area. Room rates were very affordable given all the amenities. Highly recommend!”
