“The hotel is claimed to be a 4 star but it’s not more than 2. Location is nice but rooms were less than the average of a simple motel. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a room on the first floor and have a partial view of the hills and pool, I say partial because they have built a tent close to the pool and attached to the building, so it blocks the view. If you’re unlucky like we were, you’ll get a room at the pool level (basement) and have the window just blind, facing the inside of tent, and paying……

“The carpets were dirty, OUr remote to the tv was broken and no one came to replace it after we asked 4x. The front desk staff didnt even look up and speak to us when we entered and left the hotel.”

“The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.”

“Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We……
