“My room was too far from elevator My only compliant my stay was very pleased”

“Booked room because the site said it had an indoor pool, upon arrival the was a sign on entrance saying pool was permanently closed! when i asked the lady at the desk if this happened recently she said no it has been closed since 2024 and the website should have been updated! but it was not! refrigerator in room did not work”

“The room smelled like smoke and mold. Requested another room and it was somewhat better. Then the next day the elevator was broken and had to use the stairs to take luggage to load the car.”

“Older motel, reminds me of places we stayed when I was a kid on family vacation. The property was not in the best repair (door chain lock was broken, as was the bathroom lock) Check in clerk could have been a robot. Talked to the manager in the morning to extend my stay, she was super nice and helpful. Room was not super clean, but not filthy. Bed was comfortable, ac blew cold. Very quiet, obviously built in another era. Breakfast is a voucher for breakfast at a Cafe on the premises, really……

“Let’s start off by saying all around horrible. No real blankets, A/C wasn’t working properly, property looks like it just went through an hurricane and don’t forget the cockroaches we found. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.”

“The spread and sheets had holes in them. The towels were terrible. Several lights in the room didn’t work, the walls in the bathroom were nasty and the couch had stains and holes. I pray we didn’t get bed bugs. On Fridaynight the people below us starting cussing and fighting at 3:00 am to 6:00 am they started throwing things. Not a good experience!”

“Not bad at all and the owners are very friendly people. Actually want a cutting off of that plant they have in the office and I forgot to ask. Maybe next time I'm driving through Palestine I'll remember and stop in. I don't know what kind of plant it is but it's really cool.”

“The owner was very nice and responsive. We had an emergency and didn’t get to stay. We did notice that the pool wasn’t ready yet and I think we were the first ones to rent for this season and the bathroom wasn’t very fresh or clean. ”

“The house was great! New & clean! The view was amazing!! Secluded for privacy but very close to lake Athens marina which was great for dinner and cocktails. Highly recommend!!”
