“Room was basic but functionable. Dinner was ok. Had the moussaka for dinner it was ok on the small side for the price and a bit dry. Only stayed 1 night ”

“Friendly staff at the front desk and bar! They stayed late for us to check in and gave great local recommendations at the bar! Only issue with staff is we had a house keeper walk into our room without approval at 9:30 in the morning. It was a little sketchy! Pool looked nice but never used! Did get bit by something while there…could be mosquitoes or the other something else…never seen the actual bugs but had the bites….other than that, the place did seem clean, nice shower! “Staff were all lovely, so helpful and were the highlight of the stay. Due to lack of staff being on roster we weren’t able to book the spa over the weekend. Our room was quite worn and in the bath room quite grubby. Just felt a like the place was a little run down. ”

Oceanfront rooms have unobstructed views of the best beach in the area with the property directly across the street from the beach. The street has little traffic / road noise (not a concern). Quick (< 5 minute) walk to main shopping area and restaurants, but a world away from the hustle and bustle. Better than average included breakfast buffet. “The hotel is perfectly placed for seeing all of the old port and we had a room that looked onto the port itself. No review, however, can fail to mention the now-legendary George, whose family has owned this place for decades and who offers wonderful recommendations for restaurants and beaches and other not-to-be-missed sites. Actually it was a young woman at the desk (whose name I sadly didn’t catch) who recommended we switch our planned visit to Elifonissi beach to Falasarna. Brilliant! Turns……

To be in the old town need to trade location with size and condition of the building, but not in this one , ultra modern amazing architecture on a well preserved archeological site . My room was standard but it was very spacious which is something you don’t expect from a centrally located hotel .
