Ohio University Inn & Conference Center

Ohio University Inn & Conference Center

8/10 Good
"Wow, what did I like? The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar were great. The bed, while not exceedingly so, was comfortable. My only complaint is about the AC in my room. The fan was set to run continuously (which I wanted) and the temperature was set for 70. During the night, every time the compressor started up I was awakened. Was the unit for my room overly loud? I would have to say Yes. Otherwise the stay was great. Would definitely stay here again."

"Location is very convenient to Court St., room was spacious, though the bathroom vanity was on the small side there were handy shelves in order to place toiletry items, and we enjoyed the free waters and Pepsi products in the fridge (the small freezer came in handy, too!). However, the chair in the room needs to be replaced as the faux leather was flaking off in multiple places, the bathroom sink - while pretty - is not the most functional because when washing our faces water would get everywhere, and breakfast was not ready at 7am as stated. We were only a few rooms down from the breakfast area and when my husband went to see what was being served at just before 7:15am, food items were not yet out and people were sitting at the tables waiting. By the time we went to grab a bite to eat, the scrambled eggs were gone and there were only 2 cups left to use for either juice or coffee. It's a small breakfast area and only one employee was getting the food ready so not sure if that's typical. The fitness room is quite small as well."
