Obviously, not a 5 star kind of hotel but it was fine. In a good location, no staff, check-in was next door which was fine. Overall, just an overpriced okay place to stay because Banff is an expensive place. Was easy to walk to just about everywhere in town. No real complaints if one is not expecting much. Was relatively clean, although you still don't want walk on the carpet in bare feet.

I have a mixed review of this hotel. It was clean, staff is amazing, great location. For over $650/night you are only paying for the location and view. We had a cute little balcony that you could barely fit two people out of lol. There are two plastic chairs outside for you to sit in. Parking is great, directly behind hotel. Hotel and decor are very outdated and dingy. The beds and pillows were not the greatest or softest. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. The Red Carpet Inn was a step down in quality and price from the attached hotel where you get your keys. We were there on Canada Day and were able to watch the parade right in front of the Red Carpet Inn. The staff was very helpful in our numerous questions. Parking is available, but a bit tricky when you first arrive.

Great value for money compared to what you can find in banff. Hotel is a bit dated, as well as equipment, but overall we had a great stay and experience was better than expected.
