“Location location location. Room overlooked the beach and ocean. Staff and Property were wonderful. Food was good. Room was clean and kept clean. ”

The rooms are very dated and need "modernization especially the bathrooms...not a good fit for the elderly. But it's an ideal location and very family friendly. ”

“Is a nice small hotel, good parking lot, good slow EV charger. Swimming pool is small, but water is crystal clear, jacuzzy without hot water, but it's not cold though. Rooms are good size, clean and modern. It is not front beach, and you need to walk for it. You need a car if you want to go for beach, restaurants or places out of the hotel, 10 min rides. Breakfast is awesome, typical and good portions, restaurant is kind of limited, but chef knows his art. The best of it was the staff,……

“We really enjoyed our quiet stay at Marala. It was very clean, the room and bathroom were large and the entirety of the front of the resort offered amazing views. The restaurant and bar offered great selections! ALL the staff, front desk, waiters/waitresses, kitchen, housekeeping and bar tenders were kind and courteous. We would stay again!”

“Elizabeth and staff were so accommodating and kind. The service was amazing. The room was clean and it was a nice location. You'll need a car but it's a 5-10 min drive to everything you want to see and it's very peaceful in the morning. It's small and there is no door to the bathroom so keep that in mind if there is more than 1 of you. The bed was not very comfortable but nothing a nice morning stretch on the rooftop didn't fix. “The hotel upgraded us to the master suite and it was absolutely beautiful. The best hotel suite I have ever had. Also, the staff is very friendly at the hotel and the resort is beautiful, with plenty of activities. You can also see impressive wildlife right at the resort, including sloths and monkeys.”

“Great little hotel housed next to a coffee roastery. Room was pretty cool, with nice bathroom and bedroom, and all amenities (aircon and fan also). Coffee and breakfast were good and there's also a little shop next to reception (where you can buy coffee, souvenirs, and - more importantly - their great caramelized cocoa beans! We didn't eat at the restaurant (apart from the included breakfast), but the menu looked nice also!”
