“If Peeing and pooping in a bucket from HD is your thing, you'll like this place. Dig some holes at least. Also, the dirty mattress looking thing behind the door was gross. The stairs are balanced on rocks, not very steady.”

“The cabin was cozy and clean, providing just what we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was fantastic; I had an issue receiving his messages, but it was resolved during our visit. The location is convenient, just a 40-minute drive to and from Bangor Airport and a little over an hour's drive to Acadia National Park. I highly recommend this cabin.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Steamboat Wharf cabins. The place was adorable, cozy, clean and perfectly set up for a couple, with homey touches including basic kitchenette supplies, coffee, tea, creamer, dish ware, utensils and even a water filter pitcher. Tyler was a gracious host who was friendly and easy to communicate with; he and his family live on the property, and we were pleasantly surprised when he greeted us upon our arrival. The location was ideal for exploring Acadia NP, Bar……

“If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway, I highly recommend this place. Hosts were amazingly helpful and kind as well. While it's not too far from the city/town, especially at night you will feel like you are in the middle of the wilderness. I would take this over a hotel 100/100 times.”
