"The only reason I am giving this a good instead of excellent is because they only had one valet employee so the wait to get our car was over 30 minutes. The poor girl was run ragged and people were rude to her non stop. They need more than one person working. She did a great job handling the rude people, apologizing to them, but this was a staffing failure, not her fault."

"Nice place. Provided a clean safe place to stay. Centrally located to where I had to be in St Louis. Close to Forest Park and part of the area known as the Hill. Good Italian restaurants close by. Others who were staying there were very friendly."
Clayton Plaza Hotel & Extended Stay

"We only stayed one night and had to leave early in the morning. But the room was very clean as was the lobby. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We had our dogs with us and it was no issue. It’s nice when a pet friendly place is so clean. The area around the hotel was nice as well. Wish we’d had time for dinner at the Capital Grill next door. We would stay here again and hopefully have a little more time to enjoy the surrounding area next time."

"the ONLY downside to this hotel is the absurd $55/night valet parking. i just parked for $20 in the lot next to the church that's by the property. everything else was so excellent. our room had a kitchenette with plates, cups, bowls, silverware, and even a dishwasher. the lady at the front desk was super kind!"
