It's ok. There's some basic shopping close to the hotel but the highway is so weirdly designed you can't easily get anywhere. I'll stay in Morgan City next time rather than have to deal with it.

"The hotel and room was clean and fresh. After 9:30pm there was no one at the front desk. The iron in the room did not work, and the toilet made a loud noise when you flush it. When I checked out the next morning at 6:am, there was no one at the front desk. I had to put my key cards in a drop ..."
