“We were very very pleased with our stay there! We rented three rooms for next day's eclipse. The rooms were VERY CLEAN and the owner is very thoughtful about the amenities provided. There is a kitchen available to anyone, with real dishware and cookware. It's like your kitchen at home. There is fridge full of eggs and with real half and half. The owner provides enough plastic cups so that someone can grab coffee and go, but really makes an effort to make environmentally friendly choices. ……

“This is a basic last century motel, but seems to have been recently redone so the bathrooms are nice, woodwork freshly painted, beds in good shape. It is kind of basic, but very clean. My family and I use it for a base in the local area to hike and go fishing. In the summer, after a long day hiking it is nice to get into the pool! Gorham has a growing number of restaurants. ”

“Although it is pet friendly, the room was tiny and the bathroom was EXTREMELY tiny, so much that your knees touch the tub when you sit on the toilet. The walls were thin, you could hear the person in the next unit urinating. The nice thing was it was walking distance to Main St. ”

“Ithe only issue I had was the remote to the TV did not work. I called he said ten mins,ten mins turned into a hour. They finally called my room to tell me the maintenance was not answering and I had to change the TV by pushing the channel button on the TV. ”

“We enjoyed the cottage as it had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots and pans, spices, a lovely kitchen, towels and linens, shampoo and body wash in the shower. We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!”
