“You can tell this was once a grand, luxurious hotel that has seen better day. It still has lovely bones but the wall paper is peeling, the bathtub in our room needed remodeling. When we walked in the building on one end (not the main lobby) you could smell cigarette smoke. The sheets on our bed were scratchy. At breakfast they had three gallons of milk out but they were all expiring that day. I smelled one and wouldn't use it. I wasn't impressed with their breakfast. On a positive note, it was……

“Didn't like that it wasn't 11 o'clock and they thought we left and they went open the door and my daughter was in the room still it was around 9am check out its at 11am”

“This is a family oriented property that is well maintained. I visit Decatur often but had never stayed at Homewood Suites. The only small complaint I have is the couch fabric was pretty dirty. Other than that, I highly recommend the property and would stay there again.”
