“Pros: The property is beautiful, with a great rooftop deck (which could be better utilized with more furniture) and discounted parking nearby. Lots of steps.
Very nice, helpful staff.
Cons: Only 2 outlets per room. Very noisy. No AC and very hot in April. Shower pressure is very weak, and it takes a long time to get hot water. WiFi service is terrible: slow and unreliable (much better at the hotel across the street and all the nearby restaurants).
Could use some refreshing/remodeling.”

“We had the Taormina room. It is not in the hotel. It is across the street and about 200 feet above the hotel (so many steps). We were traveling with friends who had rooms in the hotel so we felt pretty isolated. Everything in the hotel (pool, bar/cafe, etc.) was just too far away to be useful. The room and bed were big.
