The room was minimally clean with poor repairs in the bathrooms. We were told after our stay that the Charles River Inn is mostly for unhoused people long-term, and that was not too surprising. The beds were comfortable and the parking was ok, though and it was affordable. We checked in late and left in the early AM.

Overall, the Charles River Motel served its purpose. While the building and the room felt a bit dated, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s conveniently located with easy access to Brighton, Cambridge and Watertown. For the price and a place to lay our heads, it worked out very well.
