We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn during our recent trip to Salem! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our visit. They gladly provided recommendations for nearby restaurants and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering convenient access to Salem and making it easy for us to enjoy our visit. The complimentary breakfast was another highlight! Everything was well-stocked, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options to accommodate everyone's preferences. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and truly appreciated the hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to the Salem area!

Two things that made it less that great… middle of the night fire alarm… really can’t be helped… and the door card only worked one out of 3 or 4 try’s… irritating … likely batteries… no biggies. Breakfast good with a waffle batter dispenser that dispensers… a rarity… Rooms clean, maintenance actively maintaining, desk staff pleasant and efficient!

We solely booked this hotel to use the pool that happened to be out of service. We were never advised, while making reservation or after, that the pool was closed.

Wasn’t many good things about our stay. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The bad things are: one elevator was down and it took forever to go up to your room. The staff was very rude. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. The heat and AC only partially worked. They were also doing some repairs and the whole place had strong chemical odors and gave us a headache. We’ve stayed at Hampton Inn many times and always had a wonderful stay but not this time.

the heat did not work in our room, when you turned it on the room filled with smoke and it made it hard to breath and it smelled terrible. i called down to the staff and they said idk what to tell you maybe turn it off. it was freezing in our room the entire stay. they had very limited drinks to buy in the hotel so make sure you also buy your own drinks outside or hotel. i won’t be back.

Messaged us as completing renovations in the next week, so expected an upgrade from a previous one we stayed elsewhere. We booked a king with sofa bed- no sofa, just 2 uncomfortable chairs. The air conditioner was very loud, trying to cover the noise of the busy street we were facing, hearing trucks go by all night long. The phone nor any TV streaming worked, in addition to their Peloton bike screen.
