“The WiFi was very spotty and I couldn’t get on at all. Staff however helped with signing me onto the staff WiFi. Mattress was very soft. The window - painted over - was not good as there was no way of seeing what the weather was like, especially as we were in a room at the very end of the corridor. Luckily there was a heater as the radiator wasn’t working. All this being said, the hotel is in an excellent position - right next to the station.”

“Honestly one of if not THE worst hotels I have stayed in. Decor: Fresh in the 70's and I don't think it's been touched since. Threadbare carpets, wood chip wallpaper and greeted from behind a glass screen. Lights didn't work in the room, the bathroom didn't looks clean, pipework all on display, grimly looking walls. A filthy looking couch in the room and a TV that was maybe from the 90's on the wall. Beds: The memory foam mattress has forgotten... it kept sinking until we got to the……

"It’s a B&B style hotel in Lake District. It’s best for driving but there’s bus stop just outside the hotel. The staff welcomed us warmly. The room is clean and tidy. There’s no telecom network coverage. The room is also covered by WiFi though it was more stable near the door. We also had dinner in the hotel which we enjoyed the evening with descent food. The breakfast was complimentary and it’s at very high quality,"

"The room was very clean and had just been renovated, making it feel much more comfortable. The front desk staff were not particularly friendly and could improve their customer service. However, the restaurant staff provided excellent service and deserve recognition. The swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi facilities were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends."
