“Amazing sunset view, nature reserve property. My boys had great time playing scoccer with other kids at mini play ground. Also, food was great too, very helpful staff Miguel security was amazing and helpful. We surely would like to come bck in future and stay.”

“Joel at the front desk was very friendly and amazing. Although we stayed only for one night, the hospitality we received was great. The breakfast was served on the table with plenty of items. Joel offered plenty of advice for visiting the national park, the general safety tips, etc. The views were breathtaking, wish we stayed longer. ”

“The family cabin we stayed in was perfect for us and had more than enough space for the five of us. The grounds themselves are beautifully landscaped. The staff is very friendly, informative, and helpful. Thank you Roy! We had a wonderful stay. The optional breakfast was delicious and nicely presented. The staff was wonderful and having Bobby, the owner's very sweet dogs great you and escort you to your unit is such a treat. The place is at the outskirts of Santa Elena, so very quiet but within walking distance of the town center. The units are modern, clean, well maintained and give you a cozy cabin-feeling. ”

“I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. But after staying here, my mind has totally changed. You can't describe how awesome it is to be able to see a half dozen different species of exotic frogs at night, or a sloth while eating breakfast, or tropic birds singing to you in the morning. And don't forget about breakfast. Everyday, we had homemade to order……
