“Clean room, nice office staff, almost no water pressure at all, tiny room, the restaurant had a live band just a few yards from our room until 10:00 at night. We were not told that would happen. Heater didn’t ever shut off, room was run down.”

“This hotel is in Sapphire, a short drive from Highlands and Cashiers, and close to most of the area's reserves and waterfalls. It is moderately priced for the area. You get great service. We called the day before to say we'd be checking in late. They texted us at 5 pm on the day of arrival to see when we would be in. When we got there, our keys were ready, check-in was about one minute, and we were in our rooms. Breakfast is in the main building in the lounge. When you arrive, a hostess asks how……

The property is nice but the single lane road throughout the property is anxiety inducing and should probably be disclosed in the details. Although set up quite strangely with no sink or counter space in the bathroom, the room was very nice. The ceiling fan was another story. “This is such a wonderful place. Very beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed sitting in the large covered porch and looking over city and French Broad River. The room was marvelous and shower was wonderful. Very clean and the bed was marvelous. We slept so well. We will be back!!!’ The host even reached out to see if we wanted to sleep in a bit to extend check out!!! Thank you for the beautiful accommodations.”

“great stay, easy and close to everything”

“This is just the coolest property!!! The location was absolutely stunning, with the expansive front porch overlooking Marshall & the French Broad River. Perfect for families or a group of friends that want individual bedrooms AND communal, shared spaces. It was pristine in terms of cleanliness & stocked with all the kitchen items you can wish for. Very cool historic building. Will definitely stay again. Thank you so much, Lindy! Your place is 1 of a kind.”
