“I absolutely loved being at the Wee Hobbit House, Scottlandyard in Brooktondale, NY. I am a 70 year old woman and went to upstate NY to spend time with my daughter and grandson. Was a perfect location for me... 10 minutes from my daughter, Dandy Mart on the way for coffee and gas. I mention 70 year old because the upstairs bedroom was not something I could manage, but I slept on the couch downstairs and was very comfortable. Tanya was super as a co-host. The wood burner was great for a chilly early spring weekend, Elizabeth was very clear and accommodating in her communications making it very easy and everything was just great. My only regret is not booking the third night to stay for the Solar Eclipse and to get to explore the property further. “This property was well maintained and the perfect place to stay during Move-in week at the Ithaca Campus. 5 minutes or less from the school and access to the 'back entrance' without any turns made it easy to get in and out during the most chaotic time of the year. “Beautiful home off the beaten track. Lots of privacy and everything you need to hide away from the world for a short time. Short walk to a park with playgrounds for the kids with an easy 20 minute drive into Ithaca. Furniture was more comfortable than most vacation rentals. Very detailed instructions on how to use everything in the house. Would definitely rent again. Thank you. (We did not have any reason to talk to the property manager.)”

A 15 min drive to Cornell and right near the quaint town of Trumansburg with so many great dining options, the house was in a perfect location. “This was our second stay at the Cayuga Homestead! Despite the rainy weather, everything was excellent. We enjoyed the TV on the main floor and watched many movies and relaxed. Kids had fun playing games in the basement. Kitchen had everything we needed and we took advantage of the waffle maker this time. What a hit! Excellent communication from Daura. Highly recommend!”
