Carroll Valley RV Parks 2026

"Nice, well-maintained property right downtown. Older hotel but appears to have been recently updated and refurbished nicely. Staff was friendly, room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. No free breakfast, but the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was fine. The only downside I saw was that there is no hotel parking lot or valet parking. Instead, you need to drive around back of the hotel and down an alley and then there is a modest, multi-story, city-owned parking lot basically across from the back entrance to the hotel. I was traveling with someone with mobility issues and was able to park in the short-term parking right in front of the hotel to drop him off, then go park in the city garage, but I am glad I didn't have to make him walk directly to where we had to park the car for the night."

"The shower was dirty. Foot prints in tub and strands of long darl hair on shower wall (we all have red hair) they said they would come clean it and never did. The wifi was very slow. Could not watch a whole tv show because it would "load" every few minutes. Breakfast was ok. Same thing everyday. Cold hard boiled eggs. Hot n cold cereal. Waffles. Bagels. Overall it was just ok. Although i probably wouldnt stay there again."

"The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and kind. I asked for towels in the pool area & the lady came back with them right away. My room was super clean and looked to have been updated recently. I enjoyed the bed covers & pillows. They were all very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual waffles, eggs, & sausage. Everything was kept full & hot. The hotel is older but updated. The pool is large & goes all the way up to 8 feet. Which is hard to find. I would definitely stay for an extended visit as the kitchenette & comfort of the room would be worth it. Very affordable also."

"This is a charming cabin, very well kept up and well stocked. The porch and backyard are excellent and the stay was very nice. It is a little drive from the happenings of Gettysburg although we knew that in advance and chose this. The quiet and space are well worth it. That said, we were awakened early Sat morning with a bunch of tree cutting that was VERY loud. Not the host's fault, but maybe check on if anything is scheduled for when you stay. It was very disruptive to sleep an not sure if it was the township or a private person. As far as this cabin for a destination, we were very pleasantly surprised at the care taken of the property and the comfort we were afforded. Highly recommend."
