When traveling into Mammoth and to the resort, be aware it is very dark driving at night. We had a late check-in and Joy was so helpful upon our arrival at the front desk. As she had warned us, there is no A/C but heavy duty room fans/portable ACs are available to turn it on once you get in the room. The accommodations are a bit dated, but I guess appropriate for the mountain appeal. Next time, we hope to enjoy the property and Mammoth longer rather than just passing through to sleep.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay here. We were welcomed and the check in was easy. From that first moment, we were made to feel special. The room was GREAT and had more than we realized - frig, stove, separate bedroom. Wow. All of the furnishings and overall environment had the feel of a resort that was exclusive - but at a fraction of the exclusive price. With The Village being RIGHT THERE, the options for meals, drinks, coffee, and shopping are just steps away. The pool & jacuzzi were great. We rented e-bikes at The Mountain Center and that gave us a way to go all over town (and up to the lakes) - all starting right where we were staying. If we could have changed our flight plans, we would have added another day or two without question. GREAT STAY!
