"We went to a concert at Golden 1 and this place was perfect. It’s within walking distance to some great restaurants so we walked to dinner and caught an Uber to the venue. "

Tucked along the Sacramento River, this historic wine town invites you to taste local vintages at Old Sugar Mill's collection of family-owned tasting rooms. Rent kayaks to paddle the peaceful delta waterways or time your visit for the Pear Fair festival celebrating the region's agricultural heritage.
Loved this hotel, staff was great, room was clean and my pups had plenty of room to move around after being stuck in the car all day! The room was quiet and peaceful, bed was extremely comfortable and we all slept well. Moving 1600 miles with 2 small dogs and pulling a trailer is rough, but this place was just what I needed at the end of my drive.

This hotel is great and the staff are amazing. The area around the hotel (outside property line) is a little rough due to the train and tram traffic, as well as the occasional homeless person, but the hotel grounds are well manicured and safe. The hotel is very clean and well kept and the staff are great at making sure that you have everything that you need. Alfred was especially awesome with making sure everyone had what they need and are enjoying the breakfast offerings. Have stayed here twice...

I look for three key features…. Price, pool, car charging. This hotel was only two of three.
Price - fair!
Car charger - all good
Pool - that sad little bathtub in the back IS NOT a pool!!!

Having stayed over a week at this hotel I discovered it is the staff that makes or breaks the place, at least in the smaller hotels (under 75 rooms). Every employee, from housekeeper to cook was courteous and friendly without going overboard & appearing fake. I watched a young man on the housekeeping staff literally make my bathroom shine, and that was after I gave him the option to just skip my room (I am a very neat person and didn't think my bathroom was even dirty until he finished). Great front desk staff, bartender was a sweetheart and food is pretty good. The one down side is that they dont have free parking at all. Its either valet or $25/4 hours parking. There is also metered parking, but who wants to constantly worry about feeding the meter?

The older gentleman who checked me in was very sweet, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Had a fantastic day room area was quiet and comfortable. When in the area this will be my place of choice.

I was disappointed in the way the room fees and incidental fee was not explained and then not being told we have to pay for parking so just things that were no disclosed till right at payment time and also there was alot of marajuana smell the whole time and that was annoying.
