“This was our first time renting a cabin in Ontario. It held up to our expectations it was clean and the perfect size for our get away. The owners were helpful and responded in a timely fashion when we had a small issue. This cabin had everything you need. We liked that they thought about putting in some some amenities that maybe forgotten (eg tea, coffee, spices). We loved that it was dog ready with a dog towel, poop bags, pegs for the dogs. For us is is important to have a dog friendly cabin as……

“This cozy carriage house is the perfect location for visiting the area. It's a quick drive to beautiful beaches for long walks. Halfway between Grand Bend and Bayfield there's lots to do and see. We had terrific dinners at Paddington's Pub (Grand Bend) and The Black Dog Bistro (Bayfield). The carriage house is cozy and spotless. Suki is a wonderful hostess and had lots of suggestions for touring in the area. We highly recommend! Maureen and Dave”

“Great spot with beautiful sunsets, great host, great neighbours. Had everything we needed with a/c and lots of fans to keep cool! Enjoyed reading through the books provided. Lots to see and do nearby. Love the living room view of the lake!!”

“Fantastic last minute find after our initial booking was cancelled. We absoutley loved the little village of Bayfield. We enjoyed our early morning bike rides to Clan Gregor Square and Pioneer Park in the afternoon to watch the sunset. The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay away from home perfect. “What a great time! The A Frame is everything it’s claimed to be and more. Beautiful outdoor space, charming seaside decor, and a full kitchen for those who like to cook. The staircase leading to the beach is definitely for the sure-footed, but our group was up for the adventure and made several trips down there—watch your step! The welcome package had everything we needed prior to our arrival, so all that was left to do was enjoy. Thanks to Gavin and Laura for a great experience.”

“This property is a dog owners dream! Huge fenced backyard so you don't have to have your pup on leash all the time and we had access to a private beach which my bulldog loved. We used the beach daily and never ran into another person on it. The town of Bayfield has water bowls for dogs outside most shops and again our bulldog was welcome most places in town. All of this made vacationing with our dog really easy - which was initially a worry of ours when booking time away from home.”

“Our first impression was just”Wow”! That was from the outside. Going inside, there were more Wows! and “Look at this”, and “This place is awesome!” I would call the architecture and decor Scandinavian minimalist-in the best possible sense.The cottage is filled with light from the floor to ceiling windows. And we definitely got the message from the owners that they wanted us to enjoy ourselves and feel at home. We did both. Would highly recommend this cottage for a quiet getaway.”

“This cottage is styled so beautifully - with calming neutral tones & vintage finds. The stone fireplace was nice to have (and pretty to look at) on the chilly nights. It's a very comfortable space to be in! The covered side porch is a nice extension to the living space in warmer weather & a great spot to watch the sunrise over the back field. The front porch is a nice spot to catch the breeze and a wee peek at the lake. Beach access is a short walk away & there are lots of low traffic roads to……
