“Great for what we needed - overnight stay to break up the journey. Friendly staff clean rooms. I know it was budget hotel but room was smaller than expected. No bathroom as such but there was a separate toilet and then a shower in the wall. Would stay again if required for an overnight stop. ”

“Lovely clean and recently renovated room. Front of the property and on the first floor so a stunning view of Cardiff and Caerphilly mountain. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and quality items on the menu. All the staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel and stunning views. Only small gripe is that the hotel was a little warm, nothing that couldn’t be sorted by opening the windows and turning off the radiator in the room. Fan in the wardrobe and also available at……

“This is a very nice hotel and the rooms are spacious. We are satisfied with this comfortable stay experience. But I think a minor thing may need to be improved. The temperature of bath/shower is not very steady, and it dropped down after several minutes. Besides, the water from tape also took several minutes to become warm. Since we visited in April and it is still a bit cold, when I washed my hands I felt a bit freezing. It would be better to access hot water more easily.”
