I enjoyed my stay at this awesome resort. When we first arrived the front desk explained to me that for some reason they didn’t have my reservation from Expedia. However, I showed my confirmation and they got me checked in. My only beef is that we had to switch rooms because of the mix up. When you have multiple activities planned for the next day it is very difficult to have to unpack and pack at 7 in the morning.
Overall, they definitely took care of me. The staff there did mention it’s a little easier to book directly through the hotel. That being said, I’ve used Expedia multiple times and like the info provided.
I probably only knew about the place because of Expedia. I mean how am I supposed to know to book directly with the hotel. The heated pool and two huge hot tubs so hot disappoint. The pizza and food there was good and the restaurant bar tender was great!

Aug 19, 2019Went last time we were here. Pretty intense stair climbing. Have to park in another area, so don't drive to the Falls directly. There are hiking areas that you don't have to pay for. We hope to hike there another visit.

Aug 18, 2019We got there late in the afternoon, so not much traffic or other tourists. Had a short drive on the shuttle to get there and the kids were free to run and stay on trails. Be in good shape to take the steps to the top! I was sore the next day (or two)!

Jul 20, 2019Plan on long hot wait for shuttle to the falls. Parking not available at the falls, which is surpising considering the volume of people going. The falls and creek trail was very nice.
