Macon Alley Historic House

Perfect location to walk right across the road to the park or up the alley way for a nice dinner or lunch. Located in the heart of the beautiful Historic German Village.

Very Nice Property. Great location

We had a great stay at the property. Kayla was a great host and was very responsive to our questions. A warm cozy feel to the property with great natural light coming thru the windows. An added bonus was the fenced in yard for our small dog. Will visit again.

Lovely house

Our stay was wonderful. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. There was even coffee, tea and creamer. Host was super responsive. If we come back to Columbus, we will stay here.

Perfectly Charming!

We were delighted from the moment we arrived. Parking was a breeze. The home is bright, fresh and sparkling clean. Everything was so comfortable, cozy and inviting! Five stars is not enough.

Breathtaking

My husband and I have 5 children at home. We were in town for an event and took extra time as a getaway for us. The property did not dissapoint. It was absolutely amazing in a perfect little neighborhood. Forgot all about being in Ohio for a moment. We amwere clise to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. Neighbors were quiet and respectful. Perfect place to stay!

Good for short stays

Rental was cute, and good for 1-2 people. Clean and had everything needed. Bathroom and shower is smaller than expected. Stairs were very steep and only bathroom is upstairs. Bed was comfortable and large king size. Extra room does not have a bed, just the desk. Unfortunately, during our last day, the owners allowed roofing repairs to be done that started at 8 AM, lasting until late afternoon so we had to vacate a day early.

Clean house in a beautiful location

My wife and I spent the weekend in Columbus for a concert at OSU Stadium. The German Village neighborhood was beautiful. People were walking dogs and pushing strollers throughout the neighborhood. The location of the house was extremely easy to find. Several eateries were within walking distance. There was also a farmer's market a few blocks down the road on Saturday morning. The house was very nice and clean. The living room and kitchen were on the lower floor. The stairs leading to the bathroom and bedroom were narrow and steep. That's how houses were built. It added character. If I had to visit Columbus again, my wife and I would definitely stay here again.

The perfect little hideaway

There is nowhere else I would rather stay when I'm in German Village. The space is comfortable, cozy, and clean! The hosts thought of everything and are a pleasure.

Charming historic house in great neighborhood

My friend and I enjoyed our stay here very much. We came to explore the German Village neighborhood, and the house was perfectly located. It’s very charming and cozy, with a very comfy sofa in the living room and a very comfy bed.

The house was very nice , comfortable and neat . A lot of every day product provided. The bed was amazing. The steps are not for the faint of heart lol. We walked almost everywhere great shoos great food !!

Nice quaint stay

The house was lovely. Pictures were true to the actual home. Close to many great restaurants and historic Columbus. My only caution were the stairs leading to the laundry and master bedroom. They are very steep and narrow.

Quaint little nest in German Village

Easy walking distance to town center. The home was equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Great yard for our small dog. It was very clean and tidy. We loved it 🥰

Excellent location just as described

Would highly recommend Kayla's place to stay. We were a couple but there is an air mattress for the second room that is an office for more to stay. Pictures and listing are accurate. Location is great to many restaurants and Fox in the Snow coffee house which is not to be missed. Small fenced in courtyard would be lovely in warm weather to sit outside. Home was very clean. Bed was also very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers. The only thing to consider is if mobility is an issue, the stairs to get upstairs are steep but that is mentioned in the listing.

Great house in German Village

This house was great. Easy to walk around the neighborhood. I felt very safe. Nice little outside for my small dog. I would easily rent this space again. I saw someone said steps steep.. Maybe not go for people who have difficulties climbing steps. I had no problem .

Great Locatioin

We absolutely loved staying at this property. It was a great location with many places to go within walking distance. Great places to eat around here. Schiller Park is a couple block from here and is a beautiful place to walk around. Also, just strolling around the area and seeing all the beautiful home was great. The host's property was perfect and we definitely would stay here again.
