The way back takes a bit longer since you're going all up hill. Wear good hiking sneakers. Bring plenty of water especially for the hike back. Follow the trail. This towering waterfall is best accessed from the river. The trail is located between Steele Creek and Kyle's Landing, both popular camp areas and river access points along the Buffalo National River. I don't think the trail is marked, but it's not a secret and there are usually plenty of people who can guide you on where to stop. It's about a 1.5 mile trip each way with a little elevation gain...but not a difficult hike.
