“What a great place to stay if you need a quick stop before heading to the airport. The staff is absolutely the most helpful group of people I met, and all of Costa Rica would also like to point out that the restaurants pretty good as well.”

“If you’re looking to reconnect with nature this property is right up your alley , but I must warn you there are some things that left me feeling disappointed. Under property information it states that they provide tour assistance when in reality all they provide is a car service and nothing else you have to do your homework on what’s to do in the area.We were also promised a to go breakfast but at check out there was nothing left for us. The rooms are comfortable but there is no fridge or……

“Very pleasant stay. Near center of Cartago, but far enough to be a quiet place to stay. Convenient restaurant next door serving good food.”

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”

“I have stayed here several times, but it has changed over time. The restaurant has changed and now has a few craft beers, but the service was better before. There is some new venue close by that blasts music. I suppose that makes the hotel more convenient if you are going to that venue, but less pleasant if you are just looking to have an easy trip to/from the airport.”

“We pay for all inclusive but that was not the case we have breakfast buffet and that’s it, the bar was not open and the pools need work but is a beautiful place if you like nature and hiking this is the place the access by car is really easy and is close to the town where you can find anything”

“Brand new property; very clean and well designed. Beautiful lobby with separate lounge and reading spaces, dining space, bar and outside seating. Excellent self serve buffet breakfast with wide variety of hot and cold food options and even some cook to order items (eg. eggs cooked to order). Free social on Wednesday evenings with food and drinks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large, beautiful rooms (no carpet!) with lovely mountain views, full sized fridge, and well designed bathroom.……

“We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect place to relax while still being close to the airport. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. One of my favorite parts was waking up every morning to fresh coffee from the farm. If you’re looking for a unique place to stay in Costa Rica with beautiful views, quiet, great coffee, and excellent service, this is the place. We would happily stay here……
