“We were a party of five and loved this vrbo. This is a beautiful setting although we had unseasonably cold weather. Thank goodness, the hosts provided high quality, well-priced firewood and a great fireplace. We would absolutely rent this again. We didn’t even use the bonus room that had room for 2 more people.”

“Great time!”

“My stay in the historic inn was great. Both dinner and breakfast were served just downstairs from my room. The inn is old but nice and I hope to stay there again someday. My room had an old fashioned bathtub but no shower. Otherwise, all modern conveniences were available.”

“Very clean and good place for overnight stay when riding the bike trail. Close to everything in Ohiopyle. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. A good restaurant just next door.”

“good”

“Very nice stay. Nice bed, warm shower and excellent heating and cooling. Everything was in walking distance including restaurants and renting bikes. ”

“Historic property is definitely a glimpse of past excellence. Food was excellent! Charming bar and roomy dining room. Place does need a serious renovation: peeling paint and worn woodwork inside and out, But inherent charms are the draw. Historical photos, lovely inviting lobby with comfy chairs and cozy gas fireplace. Excellent sunset views from large porch with rocking chairs. And the rooms, while small, and lacking in amenities, are surprisingly quiet and comfortable.”

“I gave 5 stars but that’s assuming you know the trains run through town so you will have train whistles throughout the night periodically. It’s not the fault of the property which was great but it’s worth being prepared. The coffee machine offered decaf so we were very happy. Comfy beds and hot showers. Even though the hosts are off site there was plenty of communication. The coffee shop across the street is top notch.”

“The area around the motel was so beautiful, right by the bike path.”

“Convenient to trails and nice restaurants in the town! We enjoyed the trip!”
