"Host Paul Davis was very responsive and helpful. House had a lot of amenities - enough refrigerators/freezers/washers/dryers. The only suggestion i have would be for the arrival and exit instructions to be posted in the kitchen. like to strip the beds, clean out the garbage pails from the rooms, bring beddings & towels to laundry room, etc."

"We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, staying in the Peacock Room. The house is gorgeous with beautiful things to look at and sumptuous nooks to pause in. We had a some time to walk around in the morning and enjoy the peaceful grounds as well. Our hostess was so kind, and the breakfast was an epic and auspicious way to start the day. Just a few minutes away, we ate dinner at Train to Mumbai - such good food we ordered dishes to take away and enjoy further along our travel. I sincerely hope we have the chance to visit again next year."

The house offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably, and the layout worked great for both quiet time and group gatherings.The large yard was a favorite — perfect for yard games and relaxing- as long as we limited it to mornings and evenings as July is hot in VA :).
