“Honestly couldn’t ask for a better place. Quiet place only about 20 minutes from downtown Covington, and within 40 minutes of several outdoor spots. Everything was super clean, everything in the cottage worked well, and the wifi was fast. Perfect spot for a secluded get away but with amenities and privacy you can’t find at a campground. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.”

“Nicely kept and great pastoral location. Would recommend adding a few more kitchen supplies to make cooking a little easier. Really did not enjoy a corner camera and alarm at parking area that would go off everytime you walked by. I've never experienced that at a short term rental. Overall pretty good stay though”

“This property is central to several amazing hikes, history, and conveniences. Yet, when you are sitting by the fire ring as the sun sets you will feel like you are in a fairy tale. The lightning bugs light up above you as they leave the ground and set to the tops of the trees. This little house was really like a home away from home. “Great place, idyllic. Be sure to get good directions from the host. 104 Fredericksburg rd took us the wrong way. Once we called and figured out where the entrance was we were good. Great spot.”

“We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cottage! Heather responded quickly to messages. I do feel like there could be some areas of improvement with cleaning as all the picture ledges, lamp shades and some of the walls have layers of dust and I’m not sure if the place was swept or vacuumed before we came. I understand it’s in the middle of the woods but the amount of living and dead stink bugs was astonishing!! Not sure if pest control could help that out since one fell on me on the couch oh and……

“Very clean cottage, besides the resident forest critters who were already expected to be there, i.e. tiny moths, house spiders, etc... The layout of the cottage was perfect, simple, charming, and cozy. The ultimate bonus its pet friendly and made our stay it feel even more like home away from home with pupper dupps being welcomed and able to be with us.
