I was very sick upon arrival and the clerk checking us in found me a room, so I could go to bed. Thx you, I ended up having Emergency Surgery but she made my day so much better

A great gem in an area with many options. Clean, friendly and top shelf service throughout our 4 day stay. Joanie was a diamond our entire stay. Great place and we will be back!

Welcoming staff and exceptional room: clean, lots of pillows, lots of plug in spots for devices, a menu on the TV!, and wonderful breakfast options w all equipment working in the buffet. Gotta love a well run hotel with management that stays invested in the spaces and continues a to add to the experiences of the guests.

Check-in was very easy. The desk clerk was polite and offered us a booklet about local shops and tourist sites. The room was larger than we expected with two nicely padded recliner chairs and very clean. Housekeeping had left a note welcoming us. Their towels were very thick and soft. the breakfast buffet had the usual selections of hot and cold items. It was a nice large dining area with tablecloths and windows all around with a view of a small playground for kids that we thought was a...

The room was huge with a huge bathroom as well! It had a walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head and regular shower head for personal choice. The rainfall shower head was so relaxing and unique to anywhere else I have stayed! The room was clean, neat and organized! All of this is extremely surprising given that it is behind a gas station and above a party store. Only recommendations I would have are to put non-slip strips or something on the shower floor as it is very slippery, and to put a...

Overall it was a great stay, we had tickets to a show and the hotel was right next to the venue didn't have to move the car which was great.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, bathroom could be a little bigger and the breakfast hours could be extended, the current time us 6am-9am could extend to 10am as there is nothing open on Sunday and after being at a show the night before some people like to sleep a little kater

This is not a fancy luxury property. It is basic, but it has everything needed. It is convenient. It is quiet. It is reasonably priced. It has a comfortable bed. It has a divided bath. It is clean. The continental breakfast is nothing to brag about, but for the money you save on lodging, you can enjoy the fanciest, most expensive breakfast elsewhere!

Everything was great. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast food was very good. The showers had great water pressure. I did notice a stain on the lamp shade and in the window curtain. The pillows were pretty flat I would change those. Otherwise everything else was good.

The staff is always friendly and courteous. We always stay at the Holiday Inn Express Suites Goshen because of the service, room quality and price, the breakfast, cleanliness, and friendliness of everyone. This hotel is highly recommended.

The best area to stay in Cromwell is near Lake Wawasee, particularly along its southern and western shores.
This area is defined by its proximity to the largest natural lake in Indiana, offering clear waters and views. The main attractions here revolve around water activities and the various lake access points. It's less of a traditional town center and more of a lakeside community.
Couples looking for a relaxing getaway will appreciate accommodations with lake access. Many properties offer private docks or shared beach areas, great for kayaking, swimming, or simply enjoying the sunset over the water. The slower pace and natural beauty create a tranquil escape.
Families will find this area particularly appealing due to the abundance of recreational opportunities. Many rentals are spacious, accommodating larger groups, and provide direct access to the lake for swimming, boating, and fishing.
When is the best time to go to Cromwell?
While Cromwell, Indiana, offers a quiet retreat year-round, the best time to visit for most travelers is during the late spring (May to early June) and early fall (September to October).
During these months, the weather is pleasantly mild, making it ideal for outdoor activities like exploring the area's natural beauty or visiting local farms. You'll avoid the high humidity and heat of summer and the colder temperatures of winter, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Families looking for a peaceful getaway will find these seasons particularly accommodating. The comfortable weather allows for enjoyable outings to nearby parks or exploring the countryside without the discomfort of extreme temperatures.
