“Excellent stay! Staff was helpful and friendly at check in. Room was clean and well laid out. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were a bit too soft and mushy, but that is personal preference. Breakfast was hot tasty and well stocked. We were able to charge our EV at the 2 Tesla Universal chargers, which can charge both NACS (Tesla connector) as well as J1772 vehicles. Ample parking. The view out the back over the water is great!”

“We loved sitting on our balcony overlooking the channel. It was a beautiful and serene view. The resort is in a great location on Chincoteague. I would certainly stay there again.”

“The room was great and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very polite both at the check in and the check out process. Check in time is at 4pm. If staying at the Anchor Inn you must check in and out the Marina Bay front desk. The plus is that you can use the amenities at the Marina Bay hotel, and the Marina Bay also has a restaurant, bar, pool, and breakfast in the morning.”

“I hate to leave a review like this, so let me start by mentioning the exceptional staff. The front desk was amazingly friendly and our check-in and check-out was easy and wonderful. The property was quiet, felt safe, and we had nice neighbors. That said, the room we got was rough. Our room was not clean. There was heavy dust on furniture, a few small bugs inside, and walls showing their wear. The AC was old, and we were advised not to set it below 68. There was mold in the bathroom, and standing……

When I walked into my room, which also happened to be an adjoining room to someone unknown, it smelled immediately of must and mold.
