“The Refuge Inn is truly a hidden gem. From the check-in to the amenities and the ponies on the property, our stay was marvelous. The rooms were extremely clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Breakfast (that is delivered right to your room at a time of your choosing) was great as well; plenty of options. The amenities (pool, hot tub, fitness room, etc.) were in fantastic condition. “Stopped in Chincoteague Va on our way home from the Outer Banks. The Anchor Inn was an adorable Inn. Clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony that faced the sound and we enjoyed the Sunset and a beautiful view with your coffee in the morning. The Inn is part of Marina Bay Hotel & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel. We definitely will stay there again”

“The rooms are in need of updating, and I would strongly recommend hiring a new cleaning crew that takes pride in how clean and well-maintained the rooms are. The maintenance staff also needs improvement. Issues should be properly addressed and repaired the right way rather than putting a temporary “band-aid” on the problem. The overall condition of the rooms would greatly improve with better cleaning standards, updated accommodations, and maintenance staff who take the time to properly fix……
