This was my first time staying at a Residence Inn. It was tucked away behind the Fairfield Inn (also owned by Marriot) and it was difficult to see directly from the road. However, once inside, we were greeted by an exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. I explained that I was there to visit my sick father in the hospital which the front desk person empathized. I really appreciated this. The place was clean, holiday decorated and felt safe. Breakfast was delicious and warm. Breakfast staff...

There was ONLY ONE option of places to eat... we stayed on a Tue so i understand it's not a busy day but that was disappointing

Easy and speedy check in , staff was very pleasant n welcoming, clean and cozy, I would definitely recommend and return on my next trip!!

I really love, the young man who check us in. He was very friendly, and made sure we had what we needed & needed to know. Due to COVID lobby stay clean. Housekeeper: what I dislike was the half clean all the mirrors were marked up and that makes me feel like other things weren't wiped down from being experienced of housekeeping myself, but other than that, my bed was clean, toliet & tub. Setup was nice for walk-in

I checked in very late (past 10:00pm) and was in no mood to deal with humanity in general. I walked in and the receptionist immediately noted my exhaustion and had everything squared away for me in under five minutes! Mood greatly improved, I asked if they had room service because I was starving. I was informed that it was too late for food to be ordered there but she provided me with four different options of local restaurants that were still open and delivered directly to the hotel. We had a getaway weekend and were very excited. We were met at the front desk with smiles and happiness. Very easy check in. They explained were are the hotel facilities were located, explained about the breakfast and dinner options. Very friendly and helpful the whole stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and very comfortable

We needed a quick hotel book because my car broke down in a road trip. This was a great choice! The room was large and comfortable, even had an extra sink in the room with a microwave and small fridge. The breakfast in the morning was real nice andbthey had a snack bar that was reasonably priced. They were very courteous and allowed me to leave my car a couple nights after we departed, so that when we returned after reaching our destination, it was safe and ready to be towed.

Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I’d happily stay here again. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!

Very nice hotel.

Relaxed and rested enough to get through the day. Only thing wrong with some lighting did not function properly. Otherwise fine.

The hotel is very CLEAN

My stay was amazing. Only thing had cut stay short by one day due to weather.

We were created like family. The woman who checked us in was just delightful. She also sang to us the next morning at breakfast. The hotel was clean with very large rooms. It was like a mini apartment. Very happy with our choice. Would gladly stay again

Pool is nice. Our room was big. Why we had to bother lady at front desk to go to pool was a little weird., should just be able to.use door key to get to pool Lady at front desk could have been more cheery. Seemed bithered everytime we needed something, but our stay was good overall.

Front desk clerk was a gem, and very helpful. Room had been meticulously cleaned, all sheets and towels replaced from previous guests.

Surprisingly, the room was very clean. Only stayed due to being closer to Christiana hospital for a procedure the following day. Good rates for location. Friendly staff.

What I did not like was the fact that I had to pay $100.00 deposit that nobody mentioned until I got there. and then it may take up to 3 to 5 days to get it back. So I had to go across the street and get $100 cash at 10:00 at night just so I can have my money back immediately. Never heard of such a thing...especially a tiny town like Smyrna...REALLY??? For all its good things, I would not stay there again just based on the inconvenience of a deposit that you may eventually get back. If you got...
