“We absolutely loved the creek! My two dogs loved playing and swimming, and my husband and I loved sitting by the peaceful water flowing by. They got so worn out playing in the creek, and also all the great hiking nearby! Great location, close to Blacksburg if you want to go into town, but isolated enough to be able to relax in nature. The house itself was very clean and comfortable to stay in. We also enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit each night. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Kent’s Cabin was perfect for the two of us. Since we were biking the New River Trail, it was a great location. And only 20 minutes to the charming town of Wytheville. The cabin was spotless and very cozy. Being a little chilly at night, the gas fireplace was very welcoming. There was everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Hearing the stream flow past the house was a bonus. Ann and Judi were the perfect hosts. My husband and I would definitely stay here again. We loved……

There are plenty of pots, pans, and cooking utensils. You have a full kitchen at your disposal with a good size dining table and there is also a washer/dryer if you need them. There is plenty to do in the area, but there is also a TV with satellite service and a bunch of board games for rainy days. The……

“This home is great for a peaceful get-away. With the exception of one other home nearby, it's almost on its own, so it's quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of nature. A short drive took us down through a neighborhood to sit by the lake. Back at the house, it was nice to end evenings watching the bright stars from the porch. Sherry was very responsive and friendly when we had questions.”

“We enjoyed our stay here. Nice big kitchen area, TVs in every room which the kids enjoyed. Hot tub was in a great spot where you could look out over the lake while we stayed warm in the 40degree weather :) The driveway is quite steep and short so keep that in mind as you approach it for the first time.”
