The only thing I would like to see brought back is the waffle maker that was one of my favorite things and I’ve heard other people say the same thing. Please bring back the waffle makers and it would be nice to have a coffee and a microwave in the room as well, but the remodeling is absolutely beautiful and again the staff that works there are one of a kind I have never seen such hospitality.”

“The room was fine but it was in the basement area. That’s fine but you could hear loud water running… all night. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly enough. The park is very convenient to the parks but nothing else. The restaurants are around but have very limited hours, so if you come in late you have to drive a ways to find anything.”

“i stayed in this cabin to enjoy hiking in the gorge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for the term of my stay. Checking in and out was very convenient. Communication with the host was very accommodating. It was a bit of a drive each day to and from my hiking destinations but i would not necessarily allow that to hinder my decision to return to this cabin in the future.”

“"WOW" is too small a word to describe how utterly fantastic our whole experience was at Sunset Climb & Hike: Red River Gorge Cabin. The communication with the hosts both before and after our arrival was truly exceptional! They placed bakery treats in the fridge, recommended local restaurants, and were willing to correct any problem should one arise; none did. The cabin itself was constructed from refurbished wood and corrugated metal from an old tobacco barn. The craftsmanship was flawless……
