We loved the decor which made us feel at home. It was a joy to come “home” to the apartment each night. The towels were large and fluffy and didn’t feel like typical hotel towels. We ran out of toilet paper and tissues and a staff member brought them to our room. It would be nice to have extras already in the room. The bathroom garbage pail could have been larger and got full rather quickly. The one thing we recommend updating is the pillows. They were hard and very uncomfortable which interrupted our sleep. We plan to stay here for future trips but hoping the pillows have been changed by then! It’s also about 15 minutes to the Royal Mile and Old Town. The accommodations were lovely: very clean, bright, and modern. The heated bathroom floors were such a nice touch. The lounge offered coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and pastries, which made for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room itself was small but comfortable, with water and soda stocked in the fridge and a handy mini-kitchen. Amenities like a hair dryer, straightener, shampoo, conditioner, and an iron were all provided.
