“We really enjoyed our stay here! My family wanted to explore Garner State Park, and this was a great option that was about twelve minutes away. It was a great place to retreat to after a full day of hiking! One of the bedrooms (the one with the angled ceiling) is a loft style, and my niece adored it! She could watch My Little Pony on the big living room tv from the comfort of her bed while the adults played games at the kitchen table below. It was great for our needs! The living room itself……

“I picked this cabin for the proximity of several hiking locations. Perfect location to enjoy Garner State Park, Lost Maples Natural Area, the Frio and several local hiking/ biking areas. Frio river was about 50 feet from cabin, nice trail to get to river, bird and deer feeders kept us entertained when we were not swimming on a super nice part of the river. “The host was extremely responsive, welcoming, and friendly. She provided great ideas for things to do and see in the area. I grew up in Real county so I am very knowledgeable about the area. However, for those who did not, it would be extremely helpful. The cabin was even cuter and more spacious than in the pictures. It is in a really pretty area that feels secluded but yet is very convenient to Leakey which is about a 1/2 mile away. We saw lots of white tail deer including a large buck……
